AboutDr. Pradeep. S

Dr. Pradeep. S is a leading oral cancer and maxillofacial surgeon in Chennai. He is an international board-certified surgeon in Head and neck surgery by IBCSOMS. He has over 7 years of experience performing oral, head, and neck cancer surgeries at various reputed cancer hospitals across the country. Dr Pradeep has published numerous papers and presented at many national/international conferences. He is also a strong advocate for cancer awareness and prevention.

Dr Pradeep S pursued BDS at Sri Ramachandra College and Hospital, Chennai and an MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in Mangaluru, Karnataka where he trained in the diagnosis and surgical management of the full spectrum of oral and maxillofacial surgery including minor oral surgeries, trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, head and neck oncology, cosmetic surgery, and cleft and craniofacial surgeries.
Post-masters, he completed his head and neck, surgical oncology fellowship, at HCG Manavata Cancer Centre, Nashik. He also pursued his post-graduate diploma in clinical research and regulatory affairs at Manavata Clinical Research Institute (Affiliated to Maharastra university of health sciences), Nashik where he was trained in basic and deeper aspects of clinical research and participated as a sub-investigator in various clinical trials.
Shortly after completing the diploma, Dr Pradeep was also trained in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the prestigious Madras Medical College in Chennai for 2 years.
Further, he also cleared the international board certification examination of the prestigious IBCSOMS in head and neck oncology.
He was associated with the department of Head and Neck Oncology at Apollo Proton Cancer Centre for 3 years where he worked with the top oncologists in the country
He has also been awarded first prizes for his presentations at AOMSI and state IDA conferences.
He has also delivered a Keynote presentation on “Dental implications in cancer patients” at the IDA conference at Kodai, in 2022.
He is currently a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with a special interest in oral cancers at Apollo Main hospital, Greams road, Chennai. He is also a visiting surgeon in Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, THANC hospital and Mehta hospital.
