Dr. Kalpa Pandya, is a leading maxillofacial surgeon, specialising in Oral Oncology; and, Head and Neck Oncology in Chennai. She is an expert and experienced professional in Oral Cancers and has successfully treated more than 1000 patients in her career of 10+ years.
Dr. Kalpa Pandya started graduated from the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College in Mumbai. She then completed her Master in Dental Sciences (MDS), specialising in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in Mangaluru, Karnataka.
Post-masters, she completed her super-specialisation fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology from the Karnataka Cancer Therapy and Research Institute, affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
She has also received special training in the Department of Surgical Oncology at the prestigious Madras Medical College in Chennai. She has also worked as a surgical registrar at the HCG Cancer Centre, in Mumbai. She is well-trained and certified in CPR- BLS and ALS, a life-saving technique. She is also a trained dental implantologist.
Dr. Kalpa Pandya was a recipient of the Sir Ratan Tata scholarship during her graduation and the Dr Poornima Rai award for securing the first rank in MDS. Dr Kalpa is a passionate researcher and has received a research grant from GATE for her project on “EGFR ad Oral cancers”. She has numerous national and international publications to her credit.
Dr Kalpa is currently associated with the Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research, Chennai as an Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is also an associate consultant at Sri Ramachandra Medical Center.
